Rely on us for rodent control in South Tampa, Riverview, Hyde Park, Apollo Beach, FL, & surrounding areas

Rodents like rats and mice are the most common animals to invade homes. Looking for a free place to call home and access to food and water are the reasons why they turn to you. Although rats and mice are part of Florida’s natural environment they don’t have to be part of yours. Rodents are known to carry up to 35 different diseases. They are also known to cause damage to furniture, floors, ceilings, doors and walls. They also contaminate the insulation in your attic and walls with feces, urine, shed fur, parasites and other contaminates.

Eco-Pest & Termite Solutions can help protect your property by removing the rodents you have now and sealing the entry points they use to get inside.

Areas We Focus On for Rodent Control & Exclusion

Rodents are persistent and adaptable. Rats and mice enter properties looking for food, shelter, and warmth, then travel along hidden pathways most homeowners never notice. Effective rodent control means identifying where rodents enter, nest, and travel, then eliminating access points to prevent future activity.

These are the most common areas that contribute to rodent problems in homes and businesses.

How We Take Care of Your Rodent Problem

Rodents can chew through just about anything pipes, wires, wood, and more. They can also cause fires, plumbing leaks and structural damage. Rodents are also strong climbers, fast breeders, and can squeeze through openings as small as a quarter inch. That’s why effective rodent control requires eliminating the activity and preventing future access.

Our rodent treatment includes:

Humane Trapping

Placement of the newest and most effective capture equipment along with a non-toxic bait are used as an attractant that can lure both rats and mice.

This equipment will be checked by our trained technicians regularly for bait additions and rodent removal.

Placement of locked, tamper-proof feeding stations that are fixed to patio stones around the perimeter of your home or business. These stations use an anticoagulant rodenticide to eliminate your rat or mouse problem.

Rodent control monitoring frequency will be determined by the level of rodent pressure.

Sealing of all accessible entry points into the structure that are a quarter of an inch (¼”) or larger in diameter. Entry points are sealed with the latest rodent proofing materials.

Installation of entry limiting screens to all pipes and additional travel routes mice and rats use to gain access to your home or business.

I had a persistent ant problem in my kitchen & dining room that I just couldn’t get rid of. After calling multiple pest control companies, Eco Pest was the only one able to come the same day and at the most reasonable price. Robert was professional, thorough, and managed to eliminate the ants (which I thought would be impossible!). I highly recommend Eco Pest for anyone dealing with a similar issue. I’ve attached photos of the ants prior to him getting rid of them.

Great experience for a hardwood termite treatment. Eco was quick and treatment was effective, and they were very fairly priced and honest about scope. They also checked in two or three times over the following weeks to ensure our satisfaction. Nothing but great things to say.

Frequently asked questions

Rats and mice can enter through openings as small as a quarter inch. Common entry points include rooflines, soffits, vents, gaps around pipes, garage doors, crawl spaces, and foundation cracks. In Florida, rodents are also strong climbers and often access homes from trees, fences, and roof edges.

Common signs include scratching or scurrying noises, especially at night, droppings, gnaw marks on wires or wood, damaged insulation, nesting material, and unusual odors. Seeing a rodent during the day often indicates a larger infestation.

Yes. Rodents are known to carry dozens of diseases and can contaminate insulation, food areas, and surfaces with urine and droppings. They also chew on wiring, pipes, and structural materials, which can lead to fire hazards, water leaks, and costly repairs.

Professional rodent control focuses on removing active rodents and preventing re-entry. This typically includes humane trapping, monitoring stations, identifying travel routes, and sealing entry points through exclusion. Long-term success depends on stopping access, not just removing rodents.

Activity often decreases within the first few weeks, but full control depends on the severity of the infestation and exclusion work completed. Rodents breed quickly, so ongoing monitoring and sealing entry points are essential for lasting results.
